Kids Kayak Camps (Ages 8-12)
Join us this summer for a memorable camp experience. This camp is perfect for a new kayaker or for a kid who wants to work on kayaking skills.
This kayak camp spends two days on the lake getting familiar with their gear, wet exits, paddle strokes, bracing, and playing games. The second half of the camp is on a mellow section of river learning to read the river, kayaking in moving current, learning river safety, improving on skills learned at the lake, and having fun! This age group is introduced to the spray skirt on the lake, but most likely will not be using them for our river days.
