The mission of the sit-on-top river tour is to allow all individuals to access the beauty of the River in a watercraft that has a lower learning curve than the standard whitewater kayak. On this trip, participants are given sit-on-top kayaks or a ducky (inflatable kayaks) that do not require skills such as the “wet exit” in the event of a flip. These trips have whitewater, but the focus is more on giving a scenic experience that allows participants a chance to see some of the beauty the river can hold.
